LynxAudit is an AI visibility audit platform. Our service analyses how businesses appear in responses from AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude. Our registered address and data controller contact: info@lynxaudit.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), and billing information when you create an account.
- Audit input data: website URLs you submit for auditing.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and browser/device information.
- Communications: messages you send us via email or support channels.
- Payment data: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
3. How we use your data
- To deliver the audit service and send you your results.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the platform.
- To send transactional emails (audit results, invoices, account notices).
- To send product updates and marketing emails, where you have consented.
- To comply with legal obligations.
- To prevent fraud and ensure platform security.
4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
- Contract: processing necessary to deliver the service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests: fraud prevention, platform security, product analytics.
- Consent: marketing communications and non-essential cookies.

5. Third-party processors
We share data with trusted third parties only where necessary:
- OpenAI — AI analysis of website content and query simulation.
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Vercel — hosting and analytics.
- Resend / email provider — transactional email delivery.
All processors are contractually required to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable law.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, plus 12 months after deletion to comply with legal obligations. Audit results are stored for the duration of your subscription. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR and applicable privacy law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing).
